Made from 70 year-old Sangiovese vines and extremely bright, lush Cabernet Sauvignon, this superb Single Estate wine is a trueSuper Tuscan. With terrific minerality, the fruit is deliciously ripe and smoky, with notes of marasca cherry, granite, and rhubarb compote. "Alcide" is the name of Alberto and Andrea's grandfather, to whom this wine is dedicated.
